Something borrowed, something blue.
Well, we are officially moving into wedding season. Normally that doesn't really effect us over here, but this year is going to be one for the books! I say this for a couple of reasons....for starters, Ty and I (ok....probably less Ty and more I) decided to to dip our toes in the wedding photography pool. Exciting news, right?!! We have been blessed to have captured some beautiful memories with some amazing couples already and are gearing up for more incredible couples at some pretty great venues. AND I CAN'T WAIT!! I can't tell you how much I love seeing the beginning of a new life together. It is something truly beautiful that just makes my heart explode.
Speaking of beautiful and exploding hearts...not only do we have a beautiful daughter of our own getting married this year, we have TWO! That's right folks, pray for us, we have two daughters taking on new names this year and we could not be happier for them. And can I just say, I didn't really know what a whirlwind of emotions would come with your daughters getting married. So moms in my upcoming weddings.....I see you, and I am going to be capturing all those beautiful emotions for you to keep forever.
Many people know that we have our own little Brady Bunch situation over here...a yours, mine and ours blend that makes up our beautiful chaos, and I wouldn't want it any other way. Like a fine wine, it is only getting better with age. We really did hit the jackpot with two very brave and patient gems who have turned out to be the perfect match to compliment the lives our beautifully strong, independent and spirited girls. So to Mayson and Riley, I just want to give you a big shout out and say we are so happy and proud to have you join our family. Godspeed.....and no take backs ;) But really, we are lucky to have you and thank you for loving our girls.
Lines are currently open for tips and tricks to get through this season...from seasoned wedding photographers to emotional mommas...I want to hear from you! What is your best advice? Tell me all your secrets!
