Oh hey there!
I am Nikki!
I am a wife, a mom (to both humans and dogs), an AEMT, a milestone photographer, a lover of all things cheese, and now...your friend!
There is no denying the fact that I am a true Aries to my core. I am determined, goal oriented and a glass half full kind of girl. I am honest and sarcastic...sometimes a little too much of both. I am always moving and run on very little sleep....which is both a blessing and a curse. I love a good challenge and a great adventure. If I could make money traveling, well, I wouldn't have this webpage and would be on the beach somewhere. I am happiest when I am outside. The ocean is my happy place but the mountains keep me grounded. I am a great listener, a hopeless romantic, my love language is words of affirmation, and I still have to hold my hands in the shape of an "L" to figure out my left from my right.
The handsome fella pictured on the left of the screen is Tyler (and yes, yes I made the "L" ) Ty, is my very patient husband and business partner...the silent kind. He used to come with me on sessions to be helpful and help carry stuff for me (such a gentleman). He has since learned the tricks of the trade and now comes as an added bonus to many sessions, offering a different perspective and variety as a second shooter.
We are so excited to share your special moments and help preserve your memories for you!

MY WHY....
I have always had a fondness for photography, but my real appreciation and love of the art grew once I had kids and even more so throughout my medical career. I have spent my career watching patients and their families go through life, illness and loss, witnessing both miracles and grief. I have experienced much of that in my own life. I often find myself wishing that I could turn back time or maybe just hit pause and stay in certain moments for a bit longer. Life is short and uncertain. These moments that we are gifted with in our short lifetime will one day be a distant memory. I believe that our moments should be captured and preserved so that one day we can look back at that photo and remember everything about that moment and be able to experience those feelings over again. This is my why. I want to freeze those special milestones for you. One day those moments that seemed so small and insignificant at the time will be the moments we wish we could have back. Capturing these moments is a way to hit the pause button and recreate the feelings from those moments all over again. And that, my friends, is priceless.
